Cool......It was just a suggestion. Something to think about. The "break" truly worked for me. I "recommitted" to the instrument! I truly missed and couldn't wait to get "busy" on it again!

Good luck with you my friend,

"BassmanForLife",

I've been playing about 31 years now. At one point, I became so disgusted, I put my bass down for about 1 1/2 years. That sounds crazy I know and I'm not saying this is what you should do. I started driving a truck over the road so I wasn't playing in any bands. I worked and worked and lost track of time. I came home one night from a trip. I pulled my bass case from under my bed and opened it up. I looked at my Music Man String Ray (which has since been stolen). I stared at it for about 10 minutes. I finally pulled it from it's case and started playing without my amp. That was back in 1996 and I've been at it ever since.

Sometimes you just have to take a break. Even if it's just for a couple of days. There's nothing wrong with that my brother. A "slight" break may reenergize your batteries!

It's all good!

Your Bass "Big Brother"
